Enrolling in the Connect My Thermostat program will allow BEMC to make periodic adjustments to your thermostat during peak times, when demand for electricity is the greatest and most expensive. Adjustments will be minimal, usually no more than 3 degrees and typically 3 times per month.
By lowering energy use throughout our system during peak times, you’ll help minimize BEMC’s wholesale power costs, which helps keep rates affordable.
