Each September, BEMC members and employees are invited to participate in the Annual Membership Meeting. The morning is spent visiting with your neighbors as well as BEMC employees and directors and enjoying a variety of activities for all ages. In the business meeting, you'll hear about what BEMC has accomplished in the previous year and plans for the future of your co-op in the coming years.
At this meeting, BEMC members also have the opportunity to elect board members to open district seats. Your directors serve three-year terms on a rotating basis, so there are three or four seats open each year.
The meeting is generally the third or fourth Saturday in September and members receive registration information for the meeting by mail in early September and with the Annual Report that is included in the September issue of Carolina Country magazine.
